Macdonald unveiled his spring and summer collection for next year in Whitehall’s historic Banqueting House with the designer using sheer fabrics, cutaways and extreme mini-dresses on his models.

Supermodel Elle Macpherson was among the spectators and she was seen going backstage after the show to congratulate the designer.

Elsewhere, models wearing knee-length dresses in hues of yellow, peach and orange revealed Conran’s spring and summer collection.
